Unlike stamped out, factory made, sweat shop leather goods of questionable or deceptive origin*, each item that you order from Oh!Boyd is artisan crafted -- in the color you choose, in the size you choose. Most of our goods are made when you order them -- made just for you, with you personally in mind. They are designed and crafted to last for years and years - in Wawina, MN, USA.

In one to seven business days, your uniquely handmade, never mass produced, originally designed leather product is on its way to you.

(Some bigger orders, larger pieces, and handstitched and laced items will take a bit longer.)

Aspirations

The Oh!Boyd intent is to amuse and inspire.

Really!

However, there are some underlying aspirations beyond that for

Oh!Boyd Enterprises.

Primarily, as craftspersons, we are dedicated to...well, craftsmanship, and are intent on passing along this dedication to quality workmanship. What is produced on earth, from her gifts, will exist here long after we are gone.

Beyond that lofty goal, we fancy ourselves to be creative, trying our darndest to be inventive and unique in product utility and design, yet remain traditional and respectful in method of craft.

We want people who buy our goods to, years from now, be able to say, “Oh, this old thing? I’ve had it for years!” Either that, or, “I guess I’ll have to throw this out. It finally wore out.” Fine crafts that last a long time simply require quality materials and doing all the steps - all the little details. We try not to skimp or take any shortcuts.

The Business of Art

Oh!Boyd conducts business honestly for fair profit.

This type of business requires long hours and a lot of work in order to keep bread on the table, but that is indeed what it does. It is our way-more-than-full-time job. Like craftsmen throughout time, our work, although incredibly fun (for the most part), is taken very seriously. Our artisanship is our vocation!

From Our Hands to Yours

Unless you purchase one of the one-of-a-kind items that we do when we find some spare time, for the most part, each piece you order is made when you order it. No huge stacks of pouches and gift items are collecting dust around here! Expensive hides are not cut, or costly other supplies used until you say what you want.

We make the items you order with you in mind. We enjoy every step of making each piece and hope a spirit of good will and peace is passed to your hands when you open your package.

Almost all Oh!Boyd items are made when you order them - and, excluding some of the fancier pieces that take a little longer, they are usually shipped within 3-7 business days from your order date.

The when-we-have-some-extra-time, what-you-see-is-what-you-get, one-of-a-kinds are carefully stored until you say you will give them a good home and or wear them with glee.
