Although small, this bag is well constructed and sturdy -- double-stitched by hand with authentic looking (very strong nylon) sinew.

It closes firmly with a handmade rope drawstring made of tough woven cotton cord.

(Pull the glass bead "lock" up or down the drawstring to secure or open the pouch.)

Plus, tiny agate beads decorate the drawstring ends.

I like doing the rhythmic handstitching pattern on these little pouches, and use this pattern on many of my pouches because it is not only pretty, but forms a sturdy double stitch.

There are reinforcing stitches at the lip of the pouches so that they will last - even with frequent use. The rope for the optional necklace is made with the same cord that forms the drawstrings. -- Mary
