I do accept this type of order to accommodate customers who do not use credit cards or do not transact business via the Internet.
It takes me a little bit longer to do regular mail orders, because my bookkeeping and paperwork for them must be handled separately (steps that are usually done for me by PayPal), and, of course, the money order must go to the bank.
Your money order will be verified and authenticated prior to order shipping.
I do not except rush orders via mail order.

Well, I sure do like selling via the Internet! Here's Why:
The Merchant Services company that I use is PayPal. I find this service to be very secure, and they never share customer credit card or checking account information with their merchants. For instance, when one of my Internet customers makes a purchase, all I receive is the order with an E-mail address and a ship-to address.
PayPal does all the credit verification, plus I get to use the PayPal Merchant Services to do all my bookkeeping, including all the paperwork for each transaction. I can print packing slips and postage, and I can track my shipments online.
The old way (snail mail) of taking orders is okay, just not as convenient. In fact, USPS is not at all slow and is super at shipping my goods, but you can understand why some small but busy merchants, like me, prefer to be paid online.
