INSTRUCTIONS & TERMS OF SALE - WHOLESALE
When You Make a Purchase from Oh!Boyd, It Is Assumed That You Have Read the Following
Whatever Oh!Boyd product you will be ordering, the design, manufacture, photography, and other product rights are always retained by Oh!Boyd - see below, for further information.
YOUR PERSONAL QUOTATIONS: Oh!Boyd quotes to verifiable reseller businesses via special private web pages or via Email.
- Price quotations are based on cost of leather and materials that are in stock or readily available (in stock at suppliers) at the time of the quote.
- A quotation is not a guarantee that specific leather, leather colors, beads, or other elements will remain on hand or readily available.
- Quotation prices are guaranteed for 3 business days; extended up to 30 days, only per request.
- A quotation estimate of ship date is based on the order being placed promptly. Production time slots will not be held open for an order that has not yet been placed.
COMMUNICATE VIA E-MAIL: You must have access to the Internet and use E-mail to work with us. We reply to your inquiry within one day, usually with the quote price(s) and shipping date estimate. If clarification is necessary, we will communicate with you via E-mail.
PRICES: Oh!Boyd is HAGGLE-FREE. Best price is always offered first time. Quoted prices are not negotiable. Like any business, our prices are based on our costs - cost of goods, cost of labor, and overhead. If you are unable to price your goods accordingly, or if you cannot afford to pay yourself or your help a livable wage, then it is not likely that you can afford Oh!Boyd USA-made artisan-crafted quality products.
MINIMUM ORDER: Minimum total wholesale order is $200. Minimum quantities for each item are listed with your quote.
PAYMENT TERMS: Payment in full when ordered. See below - Order Cancellations and Refunds for further information. Use any credit card via safe and secure PayPal Merchant Services.
HOW LONG TO SHIP DATE? Allow two weeks for small orders. Larger orders? Depends on size of order and current production schedule. Please confirm with Oh!Boyd before placing order.
CUSTOM LIMITATIONS: Custom work is very limited. We will, however, alter pouch sizes, strap lengths, drawstrings, or bead types.
- We work only within the Oh!Boyd style. Please do not ask us to copy other artisans' work or to make your designs.
- Your items will only be made of leather and other materials that are regularly stocked by Oh!Boyd, no exceptions.
LOGOS/BRANDING: This is something we do quite often using customer-provided brands that fit our iron - that is, if the brand design is suitable for leather. You can contact us for suggestions regarding designing and purchasing brands and irons. General recommendations for brands on leather: The brand must be simple, not crowded and VERY VERY clear. Eliminate tiny details like small closely spaced lettering from your design as they will not show up well. The size and simplicity of your brand design determines whether or not it will be identifiable and/or legible when burned into leather. Due to leather skin surface and consistency of steadiness of hand, please expect some flaws.
LARGE ORDERS: We rarely take on orders of more than 150 pieces of a particular item. (We are leather artisans, not contract sewers.) Oh!Boyd reserves the right to decline large orders. It does not hurt to ask, though. We will always at least try to accommodate your requirements. All items are individually crafted, nothing programmed, stamped out by factory machinery, or jobbed out to companies in other countries, so there is no additional price break offered for an extra large order.
RUSH ORDERS: Oh!Boyd reserves the right to decline rush orders. Rush Orders are any orders that are required to be produced and shipped before the typical quoted/estimated Order to Ship Date Schedule. Usually, NOT always, every effort will be made to meet your rush deadline. Any stepping up of production to meet your deadline will incur an additional 25% rush fee. Rush orders, including rush fees must be paid in full in advance. Rush orders may not be canceled and are non-refundable.
ORDER CANCELLATION, REFUNDS: Some smaller orders may be canceled prior to production with partial refund - a 25% restocking, rescheduling fee applies. Larger orders that require material ordering/purchase and large blocks of scheduled production time may not be canceled and are non-refundable.
RETURNS: Returns are not accepted for wholesale orders. Read Oh!Boyd Terms of Sale for information regarding your customers' satisfaction with Oh!Boyd products, free repairs, etc.
FLAWS/EXCHANGES: Any Oh!Boyd flawed items may be exchanged anytime. Deerskin hides come from wild deer, so deerskin scars are never considered to be flaws. For branded items, expect some flaws.
SHIPPING/HANDLING: Shipping is calculated/quoted by estimating package weight. Wholesale orders within USA are shipped USPS Priority. Overnight delivery, international shipping, or other requirements are at customer's additional expense.
TAXES: Value Added Tax (VAT) may be your concern if you are outside the USA, so you will want to consult your country's Customs Department before placing your order. If you are a Minnesota business, you will have to send us the required sales tax exemption certificate.
SAMPLES: Orders are accepted from prospective (verified) resellers for one or two sample items at full retail price (plus shipping/handling) prior to customer making a full order. If full order is placed, credit for the difference between retail and wholesale order price of samples is applied toward the full order. Restocking fee of 25% applies for returned samples. Shipping and handling charges for samples are not refundable.
DROP SHIP/SALES REPRESENTATION: No drop ship program or other representative program is available for Oh!Boyd products.
INTERNET SALES: No under pricing via Internet web site sales allowed without express permission from Oh!Boyd. Having a sale? Please let us know first.

Oh!Boyd products are not carded or tagged. However, the leather goods are generally signed (inside).
Whether items are tagged or carded, signed, or unsigned, design and other product rights belong to Oh!Boyd. Please do not indicate or claim, deceive or allow an assumption that an Oh!Boyd product is manufactured or designed by anyone but Oh!Boyd.
You may not act as distributor, representative, or manufacturer of Oh!Boyd products or designs, nor may these items be conveyed to a third party either physically or by photograph for distribution, representation, or manufacture without express permission of Oh!Boyd.
PHOTOGRAPHY - YOURS AND OURS: Oh!Boyd retains artisan and product rights, so please ask for express permission prior to photographing Oh!Boyd products (with or without your products) for commercial use. For example, if you intend to photograph your product with an Oh!Boyd pouch or case for your catalog or for advertising of your product, please ask for our permission. We will respect your artisan rights and product rights also.
Use of Oh!Boyd photographs is by permission only. Please contact us before copying our photographs. Our photographs may not be altered. Ownership watermarks must be retained.
